Easter Portraits

This Easter at church we did portraits for families before or after the service.  I didn't get to photograph all the families but some of them really really made me laugh, I'm so happy to be a part of a church that is so loving and outside the box..... it's refreshing to have found a church in pennsylvania that uses the arts to express family, hope, and all the good stuff found in life.

here are some favorites...

This family is adorable... Their son Josiah kept on wanting to make faces, and we had to convince him to smile nicely just once.

I had to pose the two men on the sides of the couch, and they were trying to make that seem "manly" hahaha.

My accomplice, Melody taking a shot.

Our pastor, and his family. Love them!

Worship Band spiced things up a bit...  Bob (top middle, blue button down) was like, "Hey lets do a civil war shot."

These two girls were giggling in the church foyer so I walked over to them and asked to take their photo together , they were hesitant until I told them we had mustache props.

FYI: That's the way to an artsy teenage girl's heart, mustache props.

The one on the left in the red pants reminded me so much of myself when I was high school...what cool kids with their dreads..... maybe I'll dread my hair next.
They considered these their "serious photos" hahaha.
